Tinker Tailor – Booking Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made via https://tinktail.co.uk/book-now, including services outlined at https://tinktail.co.uk/services/assessment-centres-2. By booking a service with Tinker Tailor, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Services

These Terms cover bookings for:

  • Assessment Centres
  • Consultations and other related services

2. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payments are processed securely through our booking platform.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Assessment Centre Bookings

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled assessment centre will receive a 100% refund of the total booking fee.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled assessment centre will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours or no-shows (failure to attend without cancellation) are non-refundable.

3.2 Consultation Bookings

  • You may cancel a consultation at any time. However, refunds are only available if you cancel more than 2 hours before the scheduled start time.
  • Cancellations within 2 hours are non-refundable.

4. Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Assessment Centre Bookings

Rescheduling is not permitted for Assessment Centre bookings. Clients must cancel and rebook, subject to the cancellation terms above.

4.2 Consultation Bookings

  • You may reschedule a consultation up to 2 hours before the appointment time, subject to availability.
  • Rescheduling requests received less than 2 hours before the appointment will not be accepted, and the session will be forfeited without refund.

5. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen events may occur. In rare cases of genuine emergency (e.g., medical, bereavement), please contact us with supporting documentation. At our discretion, we may offer a partial refund or a credit note.

Circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, transport strikes, illness of a facilitator) may require us to cancel or reschedule. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. Tinker Tailor – Booking Terms & Conditions

6. How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule (where permitted), please:

  • Include your booking reference, full name, and scheduled date/time
  • The time of receipt of your email (UK time) will be used to determine eligibility for refund or rescheduling

7. Liability & Disclaimer

Tinker Tailor is not responsible for any indirect loss, such as travel, accommodation, or loss of income due to cancellation or rescheduling of your session.

We are not liable for failure to deliver services caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and resolve your concerns.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website and effective from the stated date.

10. Definitions

“Assessment Centre” refers to structured group or individual assessment sessions booked through our platform.

“Consultation” refers to any individual advice session, review, or one-to-one service not falling under an Assessment Centre.

“Business days” mean Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
